About this event
Please join us for a fun walk in Prospect Park to spot local and migratory birds. We will learn the names of the birds we see. We will be walking outside so wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Rain or shine so be prepared. If you RSVP we will send an email reminder the day before the event. We meet in the Lobby near the Checkout Desk about 9:50 and depart sharply at 10:00 am. There will be a limited number of binoculars to borrow, so if you have your own pair, please bring them. We will have 10 birding kits, including binoculars, available for participants' use, courtesy of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
