About this event
(NR) USA – 1 hr 27 min 2025 · d. Melody C. Roscher Starring Alisha Wainwright, Christine Lahti, Annabelle Dexter-Jones Mercurial bride-to-be Bird ostensibly arrives at her narcissistic hippie mother’s home to scout a wedding location, but she has a secret agenda, too—uncover a long hidden truth about her family. She soon finds herself tied up with her mother’s new neighbors, a misguided couple on a mission to ‘rebrand’ a plantation. Weaving together themes of race, kin, and belonging, this dramedy is a tender, funny portrait of a woman’s journey back to her self.
