@ Bountiful bargains can be found at The Friends of Rockport Public Library’s (FRPL) big September Book Sale on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thousands of gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles will fill the library’s lower level. Most items in the sale are priced between $.50 and $5, with all proceeds directly benefiting the library. FRPL members are encouraged to bring their purple tote bags for a $10 refill. Only checks and cash can be accepted at the sale. Volunteers are needed for help with set up, cashiering, restocking books, and clean-up.
