About this event
Beyond the Generation is a Girl Scout Gold Award project that aims to spread technology literacy and enrich lives by helping older adults gain the confidence to become more engaged and thrive in our digital world. Our program centers on key everyday essentials such as QR codes, scam detection, and video calling, while also teaching more advanced concepts, such as reserving transportation through ride sharing apps, and using technology to keep their minds active through online learning. The program will consist of a 30 minute presentation about these concepts, and 30 minutes answering questions and assisting attendees with their technology concerns. Please register and bring your own device. Hosted by the Teen Advisory Board.
