About this event

5:00 pm: Sips & Sweets 6:30 pm: Talk As part of ANU Museum’s global Challahfest, FOODISH Founder and CEO Merav Oren moderates a conversation on Jewish identity, memory, art, and culture through the lens of challah. Panelists—including Pati Jinich, James Beard Award-winning chef and author of the book Foods of La Frontera, and Alexander “Zoonder” Lachnish, a chef and educator known for modern gastronomy techniques—will explore how a familiar loaf of bread can tell stories about who we are, where we come from, and how Jewish culture continues to evolve. The first 100 ticketholders will also get a complimentary cake pop! Sips & Sweets: Before the talk, enjoy some drinks and decorate your own challah lollipop from Baked by Yael. No one will be turned away from any of our programs due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact Kira Doar.
