Sonia Rutstein of the Baltimore-based band SONiA disappear fear (who performed at the Gordon Center in February 2022) is facing an incredibly hard season: Sonia’s wife, Terry Irons, has been diagnosed with glioblastoma and is now terminally ill. The music community is rallying around them with CONCERT 4 TERRY, a benefit show on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at The Recher in Towson to help cover medical and living expenses. The night will feature SONiA disappear fear, Ellis Paul, and BETTY, plus additional touring artists—all donating their time—and a raffle held ahead of the event to support the fundraiser.
