Beltline/Piedmont Park- Saturday Evening Walk

**Trail Description:** New adventure exploring the Beltline Eastside Trail. We will meet at the 4th Ward Park, across from Ponce City Market. From there, we will walk the Beltline Trail to Piedmont Park, loop the park and return to the starting point. Lots of options for parking (mostly paid) and eating/shopping after the walk is completed. **Difficulty Level** Beginner (paved surface trail, includes slight elevation gain). **Distance:** 4+ Miles **Estimated Duration:** 2-3 hours **Pace:** Moderate, 2-2.5 mph. Please be able to keep up with the group. **Meeting Location:** Historic 4th Wark Park at the front of the park (by North Avenue NE). **Start Time:** * 6:00 pm sharp **Parking Info:** * Free **Dog Policy** Dogs are welcome on leash per the park website. Dogs must be leashed and under owner control at all times. **Event Guidelines** * We will begin promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start together. * This group is for people ages 18 and over who are Meetup members, and each person may bring up to one adult guest. * Bring water, snacks, and any gear you may need (e.g., trekking poles, flashlight, rain gear). * We welcome beginners. But if you are new to hiking or unsure if you can maintain the listed pace and duration, please do some prep walks in advance.
