About this event
Tenafly - Children's Room, Tenafly Public Library. No registration. Open play time for infants and pre-crawlers with their caregivers. Babies play with toys designed to encourage their physical and intellectual growth while caregivers socialize with each other. Supervised belly play is important because it helps to: Strengthen baby’s neck, shoulder, and arm muscles so the baby can start to sit up, crawl, and eventually walk on their own Improve baby’s ability to move and control their muscles to complete various actions (sometimes called “motor skills”) Prevent flat spots on the back of baby’s head from the National Institute of Health website
