About this event
Pat Thompson will give a photo tour of what it takes to organize hundreds of thousands of plants, sell them to 20,000 customers over four days, while working with 2,000 volunteers at the State Fair Grandstand. All to benefit a small school in Saint Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Pat has been a volunteer coordinator of the Friends School Plant sale for 28 years. She produced its catalog for 26 years and continues in various roles. The club business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by refreshments and social time from 7-7:30, and the presentation at 7:30-8:30. We meet in the Saint Anthony Park Lutheran Church Fireside Room; enter off either Luther Place or Como Ave. The church is across the street from Speedy Market. Visitors are welcome. We will also broadcast the meeting over Zoom. The zoom link will be emailed to members; for non-members, email sapgardenclub@gmail.com at least 12 hours before the meeting.
