Join ABG's horticulture associate, Katie Redmond, in this introductory course designed for budding foragers in the Anchorage area. We will explore some of the diverse, edible, and medicinal plants that fill our local landscape. This workshop will be an in-class informational, designed toward foraging etiquette and methods for collecting and processing plants, preparing you to safely and respectfully interact with Alaska's unique ecosystems. Participants will receive a foraging tool to take home. This workshop takes place outside, please dress accordingly. There is a $2 cancellation fee for all cancellations. No refunds given with less than 48 hours notice.
