Beginners Sourdough with Chiliwist

Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery and Laura at Chiliwist & Raw are partnering to bring you a Sourdough For Beginners Sip & Bake Hands On Class located at Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery in Wenatchee, WA. Laura, owner of Chiliwist Bakes, a WSDA certified commercial sourdough bakery and instructor at Chiliwist & Raw, will teach you all you need to know to bake an artisan sourdough boule from start to finish. You will gain the knowledge and skills on how to mix and strengthen your dough, bulk fermentation, proofing, scoring and baking as well as how to maintain a sourdough starter! You will take home your very own starter PLUS take home your own pre-fermented boule to bake (that you shape yourself in class!). You’ll keep the dough that you mix, your own provided notebook that you’re welcome to take notes in throughout the class, AND handouts provided by the instructor.
