Beginner Guitar Lessons for Adults

About this event

This is a beginner-friendly guitar meetup for adults who want a relaxed, encouraging place to learn. You can show up with zero experience. We’ll work on basic chords, simple strumming, and real songs in a way that feels doable, supportive, and actually fun I lead the class myself, and the goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress, confidence, and helping you get comfortable actually playing. Bring an acoustic guitar, or an electric with a small amp. We always end with a casual group play-through so everyone gets to join in, no matter where they’re at. Each session builds gently on the last, but you can drop in anytime. **When**: The 1st Thursday of every month at 10:00 AM **Where**: Wandering Bards, inside Terra Diamond **Cost**: $15 • Venmo, Zelle, or cash **Finding Wandering Bards** Quick heads-up about my studio because this has confused a few people: Most of my events are currently held inside Terra Diamond, a working warehouse/business owned by a friend of mine. Wandering Bards has a studio space upstairs inside the building. Your Maps app may take you to the back of Terra Diamond, where you’ll see a very large “Terra Diamond” sign. That’s actually the warehouse loading area, not the entrance. Drive around to the other side of the building. You’ll find a parking lot and the front entrance marked by a much smaller “Terra Diamond” sign. And yes, from the outside it has a little “Am I definitely in the right place?” energy. You are. 😄 Come through the front door, head up the staircase on the left, and we’ll be in the second room on your right. There’s a big window, so you should spot us pretty easily. If you get turned around or aren’t sure you’re in the right place, just text me at 385-313-8344 and I’ll help you find us.
