Beethoven Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 is perhaps the most iconic works in the orchestral repertoire, celebrated for its unforgettable four-note opening motif and dramatic emotional arc. From struggle to triumph, the symphony embodies resilience, innovation, and the enduring power of the human spirit. Link to Program notes coming soon ARTIST HIGHLIGHT The Amara Trio The Amara Trio, Gold Prize winners at the 2024 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition, was formed in the summer of 2023 at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival. Since then, they have shared their love for music with audiences at venues around the country including Alice Tully Hall, Paul Hall, Ebenezer Theater, and Prior-Jollek Hall in the Virgin Islands. For the past two years, the Trio has been part of Juilliard’s Honors Chamber Music Program, performing at Lincoln Center and premiering new works in collaboration with composers. Their festival appearances include The Perlman Music Program, Chesapeake Music Festival, Music at Noon, and the Sundays at Three Chamber Music Series in Maryland. Passionate about building community through music, the Amara Trio is dedicated to sharing the joy of chamber music to diverse audiences. They regularly visit hospitals and retirement homes across New York and New Jersey, using their music to uplift and engage diverse communities.
