Beavers are returning to their native waterways! Learn about beaver biology, history, the story of the growing number of beaver families living in Longfellow Creek and the habitat created for salmon spawning under the beaver dams. Amazing video footage and photographs will be shared in this 45-minute presentation and discussion. Pamela Adams, owner of BeaverInsights, is a freelance beaver detective advocating for beavers rights and wetland habitat health who works with nonprofits such as BeaversNorthwest, Western Beavers Cooperative and BeaverWorksOregon. In 2024, the documentary, "The Freelance Beaver Detective - Tracking Urban Wildlife" was released. Sponsored by the Friends of Skyway Library. Registration not required.
