Beats Antique with Itchy-O, High Step Society, Carnivale de Senual

Itchy-O is a Denver-based, avant-garde performance collective founded in 2008 and internationally recognized for large-scale, ritual-driven spectacles that merge percussion, electronics, costuming, choreography, and audience engagement. Their work draws from experimental music, ceremonial performance, industrial art, and countercultural pageantry, and has been presented at major festivals, cultural institutions, and international events for over fifteen years. The Intergalactic Masquerade is itchy-O’s annual flagship format: a costume-forward (never required), participatory convergence designed to be experienced as a unified arc rather than a traditional concert. While informed by a long-evolving internal mythology, the Masquerade is intentionally accessible. Attendees are encouraged to arrive unencumbered by the everyday and contribute to the environment through presence, movement, and presentation rather than observation.
