Bear Mountain Loop

Bear Mountain Loop An outing with Sundance Outdoor Adventure Society. Full details to follow as we get closer to the date. But we plan on hiking up the Major Welch Trail to the Perkins Tower and returning down on the AT to complete the loop. CHECKLIST: Water, snacks, lunch, headlamp, walking sticks, layers for clothing, contribution towards gas, tolls and parking and entrance fees. It's a steep incline up and lots of stone steps heading down. In other words, it's a hard 4 /4.5 mile, 3-4 hour hike. And if you're driving, let us know if you have room for 1 or 2 more and we'll discuss logistics and preferences including choosing your own meeting point. We hope to hit the trail by 9:45 AM at the latest. Thank you. ⚠️BEAR MOUNTAIN HIKE: EVENT DISCLAIMER & WAIVER ⚠️ Please read this carefully before RSVPing or attending.
