Baskett Slough NWR

Join Julian Hwa & Erik Bergman, in discovering the wintering site of the Dusky Canada Goose and home of the Streaked Horned Lark in winter. We will meet at the Park ‘N Ride to carpool at the Bridgeport Exit #290 at 7 a.m. Directions: south on I-5, take the Bridgeport Exit #290, then turn right (west), then turn left to the Park ‘N Ride. North on I-5, take Exit #290, turn left (west), and turn left again into the Park ‘N Ride. We will then form carpools to Baskett Slough NWR. Please bring a lunch. Scopes would be helpful. Let me know if you need binoculars. Bring binoculars, water and a lunch, and dress for the weather. We encourage carpooling, and will be providing radios for communications and safety. *More folks would like to go on Audubon Outings than we can accommodate. So, if you have attended two or more Outings at this location in the past 18 months, we would ask you to let another birder go instead. Thank you!*
