Barnes Arboretum, Frances M. Maguire Art Museum & St Joe's U

2-3 hours, 3-5 miles. There are 3 parts to this meetup. One, a 30 min to one hour walk through the gardens at the original Barnes Museum. St Joe's has keep up the gardens which were a real treat to visit when the original Barnes was located there. There is a flower garden with 18th and 19th century rose strains which actually have a strong rose aroma. There is also a large arboretum with neat trees from all over the world. Two, the old Barnes Museum Bldg was christened the Frances M. Maguire Art Museum last year when if first opened. A great use of the bldg. It's free and the collection is eclectic. No Masters here. We'll zip through in 30 minutes or so. Three, we'll take a walk around the neighborhood and St Joes. CARPOOLING To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen Ave, Phila) meet 40 minutes before the event. Carpool time changes if hike time changes. Text me 215-2474459, 3-4 days in advance.
