Join us for a special two-film series honoring legendary actor, director, and filmmaker Robert Redford. For this showing, you will watch the charming romantic comedy Barefoot in the Park. Robert Redford stars as a conservative young lawyer who marries a free-spirited woman after a whirlwind romance, but life in their rundown five-flight NYC walk-up makes them question whether they’re right for each other. Each screening will feature a brief introduction by Robert Bloedorn, our resident film expert and member of the Mulva Cultural Center team, offering insight into Redford’s career and lasting impact on cinema. Following each screening, there will also be a Q&A. Note: this is a two-part series with the second film showing in October.
