About this event
Teens and adults! October 4-10 is Banned Books Week. Stop by Leonard Library on Monday afternoon to celebrate the freedom to read with a read-in and listen-in! We'll have a selection of frequently banned and challenged books to read, and prizes for folks who stay and read for a while! For audiobook fans, we’re teaming up with Libro.fm and Silent Book Club. Join us as we read (listen!?) and take action to fight book bans! Attendees will receive a FREE e-audio copy (via a Libro.fm account) of either Banned Together or How to Defend Books and Why We will also have our Silent Disco headphones set up with a banned books themed audiobook to listen together as a community!
