About this event
Thornton Meeting Room. Are you curious, confused, or concerned about the recent increase in book challenges and bans occurring across the country? Facilitated by retired librarian Tammy Depasquale, this monthly program offers an opportunity to read and discuss titles in the news and on the 'no read' lists and to weigh in on those challenging topics facing both public and school libraries in a respectful, safe space. Titles will be available for check out at the circulation desk a month before they are discussed. Registration is NOT required. This group generally meets the 4th Monday at noon in the Thornton room. Picture book titles to be discussed this month (TBD)
