Ballet & Books Program Series

Auditorium. About Join us this Fall for a unique 8-week program for children ages 6-9! Ballet & Books is a national, non-profit organization striving to reduce the literacy gap through the hybrid storytelling of dance and reading. In extracurricular programming led by college students, the organization provides children with an opportunity to improve their literacy skills through a combination of dance instruction and dialogic reading. Dancewear, shoes, and books are provided. This 8-week program takes place on Saturdays from 1:00-2:30 PM starting October 3rd. This 8-week commitment is cumulative, building on skills each week, and culminates in a final performance at Northern Kentucky University!
