About this event
Farmstead Meatsmith is coming to White Oak Pastures! Participate in a complete pig harvest-by-hand, from slaughter-to-plate. Brandon Sheard from Farmstead Meatsmith will provide two afternoon meal experiences. Our full-scale education covers facilities & equipment acquisition, natural (no-nitrite) meat preservation, traditional cookery, and knife-in-hand opportunities for the whole group throughout the day. Photography and film-taking are expected and encouraged all day.
