About this event
A monthly program at the Brooklyn Public Library where we revisit some of the best (and worst) horror films ever shown at drive-ins, double features, and midnight screenings. To celebrate the Halloween season, this month we're hosting weekly screenings from John Carpenter's legendary Halloween series. Tonight's Showing: Halloween (2018) Directed by David Gordon Green Halloween (2018) picks up 40 years after Michael Myers return to Haddonfield in the original 1978 movie. Laurie Strode has never fully recovered from her encounter with The Boogeyman. But after a transport bus headed for Glass Hill Psychiatric Hospital crashes, Laurie realizes she might get another chance to exorcise her demons on the night He comes home. Again. Fans of the Halloween franchise will appreciate this triumphant return to form. And even if you haven't seen the other movies, this one still packs a pretty good scare! The movie will start promptly at 5:50. Registrations are appreciated!
