About this event
Dance the night away at the East New York Community Land Trust’s annual party and fundraiser! The theme is 1990s NYC. Come party and help us raise money for our work! We’re a member-led organization working to take land out of the private market and bring it under democratic, community and tenant control. In 2024, we worked with a group of longtime tenants to take back their building from a neglectful landlord and we are now converting it to an affordable cooperative. This summer, we bought a commercial building and are transforming it into the East Brooklyn Liberation Center, a movement space for community organizing, the arts, and worker-owned businesses.
