Author Visit with Stephen (S. P.) Axe

Meeting Rooms. On Thursday, November 5th at 6:00 p.m., the St. Marys Community Public Library will host S.P. Axe for an author talk. He will discuss his book, The Community. What if freedom wasn't taken by force—but surrendered in the name of community? The year is 2083. The town of Versailles, Ohio, appears peaceful. Families look the same. Children follow the same paths. Everyone has a place. Everyone has a purpose. Everyone serves The Great Deity. Questions are discouraged. Individuality is forgotten. And wanting something different is the greatest crime of all. Through the eyes of multiple characters from opposite sides of town, The Community slowly uncovers the truth behind a society built on conformity, propaganda, and absolute control.
