Drawing from her experiences as an educator, caregiver, real estate professional, and advocate for seniors and families in transition, this discussion will explore how profound adversity—including family violence, caregiving through paralysis, alcoholism, and loss—ultimately led her toward healing, faith, and purpose. Watch it here → About the Author Deborah Samuel is a Santa Barbara-based author, podcast host, speaker, and Senior Specialist Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties. She previously spent over 20 years as a nationally recognized educator in Rogers, AR, working with at-risk high school students. She is also co-owner of SBSOS, a senior downsizing and transition company that has assisted more than 300 seniors and families through major life transitions. Deborah hosts The Senior Scoop podcast and has conducted public interviews and community storytelling events throughout Santa Barbara, California.
