About this event

Coolidge Museum. Join us for a paired reading by authors and writing partners, Sally Bellerose and Maureen Brady. Sally Bellerose is the author of the novels The Girls Club, Fishwives, and the soon-to-be- finished novel Little Man. Little Man centers around Billy, a man who is full of life and emotion, nonverbal, blind, and profoundly developmentally challenged. The institution Billy has lived in for forty years is about to close. Sally loves Forbes Library and is happy to read with her critique partner, Maureen. Maureen Brady will be reading from her novel, Tessa's Landing, the heartwarming story of a girl forced to immigrate to America at the height of the Irish potato famine. She expects to be met by a man at the docks but he fails to show and she is left to make her way on her own. Brady has published the novels Getaway, Ginger's Fire, Folly, and Give Me Your Good Ear. She is delighted with the chance to read with her writing buddy, Sally Bellerose.
