About this event
Join us to hear author Pamela Jones discuss her memoir, “The Dirt Beneath Our Door: My Journey to Freedom after Escaping a Polygamous Mormon Cult,” a raw, remarkable, and inspirational account of her escape from a violent cult with her eight youngest children. With nothing but two vehicles, two tanks of gas, a five-dollar bill and two secret credit cards, Pamela crossed the border from Mexico to the U.S., determined to give her children a better future, and rebuilt her life from nothing in this true story of hope, resilience, and reinvention. For adults. Funded by MELSA.
