August dinner in East Providence

As we close out the summer, lets us get together and enjoy a Portuguese style dinner feast in East Providence. And even though we have already gathered together for dinner earlier this month, that dinner was technically our July meal, so I hope you understand my title. And I know that some of you are already rolling your eyes since you dislike having to go across that dreaded backup on Interstate 195-East. But speaking from personal experience as I have gone to this restaurant MANY times over the years, their food is rather spectacular! So I just suggest that you please leave your homes or other local(es) a bit earlier so that you can be there by 6:30 p.m. According to their website, O Dinis is a cultural cornerstone in East Providence, a city where Portuguese heritage is celebrated. They are not about fast food or convenience; they are about preserving old-world, traditional cooking. And although they do list all their dishes in Portuguese, they do translate each of them under the name of the dish. They do the same on their online/daily menu. As usual, I have asked for and was approved to have each person or couple on their own individual check. Please note that They will also automatically add an 18% tip to your check since we are a group of more than six customers. Should be a fun event...Vamos la!
