(Auditioners only need to come to one night of open call auditions. We are only seeing in-person auditioners during audition times – no video submissions. But what’s the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they’ve abolished hanging? Amongst the cub reporters and sycophantic pub regulars dying to hear Harry’s reaction to the news, a peculiar stranger lurks, with a very different motive for his visit. Martin McDonagh does it again in HANGMEN, a corrosively funny black comedy filled with dramatic tension in a juicy tale of capital punishment that will leave you “hanging” on the edge of your seat with suspense and devilish delight.
