This is not simply a class where we talk about acting. You will work on camera during every class. Through camera playback, constructive feedback, and group discussion, you will discover the difference between what you think you are communicating and what the audience—and the casting director—actually sees. When auditioning for a smaller role, have you ever thought: “Am I overthinking this?” “I don’t have enough time to show them anything!” “There isn’t much to work with in one or two lines.” “What does the casting director really want?” This class addresses those questions and gives you practical tools to make strong, believable choices—even when your audition contains only one line, one word, or a simple reaction.
