Boston Dance Theater presents their original contemporary piece, "Unfurling," an original, nature-inspired dance performance to the Spotlight Series stage. Drawing inspiration from the quiet resilience of plant life and the writings of Indigenous botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer, the work invites audiences into a shared sensory experience of movement, sound, and sculptural installation. Dancers move through the space like tendrils of growth, attuning to one another, the land, and the invisible networks that sustain life. Rooted in slowness, sensitivity, and ecological imagination, Unfurling asks us to notice what is often overlooked and to sense our place within a living, interdependent world. Tickets available now for Boston Dance Theater’s Unfurling! Doors will open at 5:00pm on Jan 31. The dance performance will begin at 6:00pm. The audience is invited to stay after for a brief post-show talkback with Boston Dance Theater's company members. Tickets: $35 for General Admission seating. Questions?
