The PMA brings together three artists of the same generation — Elizabeth Atterbury, Eve Biddle, and Sascha Braunig — for a rare conversation timed to a brief overlap of Biddle and Braunig’s exhibitions. Though their practices span different media and perspectives, Atterbury, Biddle, and Braunig share intersecting concerns and generational context. Join them in conversation for an evening exploring where their work converges, diverges, and surprises. About Artists in Conversation About Artists in Conversation Artists in Conversation is a program series at the Portland Museum of Art that brings artists together for public dialogue around shared moments of exhibition, generation, or theme. Launched in November 2026, the series creates opportunities for intergenerational dialogue and interdisciplinary exchange, pairing emerging and established artists in conversations that reveal unexpected connections across practice and perspective. Open to PMA members and the public, Artists in Conversation invites audiences into the ideas and relationships shaping contemporary art today. Her studio practice moves between two and three dimensions and is grounded by a curiosity in language and objects/object-making. Often of personal significance, the forms used in her work draw from multiple sources including memories, family history, the natural world, and everyday life.
