Visit the Artist’s Corner in the Family Interactive Gallery Studio, which focuses on artists from around the world. The Artist’s Corner offers young guests an opportunity to explore a variety of materials and mediums to create art inspired by the featured artist. With Hard Edge / Soft Ground closing on September 20th, we’re taking the month to celebrate famous pop art Roy Lichtenstein. Lichtenstein’s bright colors, bold outlines, and unique use of Ben-Day dots paved the way in the Pop Art world. Explore his explosive style with crafts inspired by Lichtenstein’s landscapes. Put the “POP” in Pop Art! Use bubble wrap to make a stunning print inspired by the artist’s famous Sunrise painting.
