About this event
During this time, thoughtful adjustments will be made across the Museum to create a more comfortable experience for guests with sensory sensitivities. Guests can enjoy a gentle reduction in lighting and volume throughout the galleries, as well as a quiet area in the Governor Winthrop Rockefeller Lecture Hall for those needing space to relax and recharge during their visit. Staff members stationed at each Guest Services Desk will also have weighted blankets and sensory bags on hand for both children and adults. Each sensory bag contains headphones, sunglasses, a fidget item, and a weighted plush for added comfort and convenience. Download our social narrative to prepare for your visit to the Museum.
