**ART OF COMMUNICATION** *Why is it so hard to communicate or be heard? As a man, or a woman trying to communicate with a man? As men, why does communication often not come naturally? How do you ask questions? Hold entire conversations? How do we learn to become more curious?* Kaitlyn Bendlin, and Rick Ellsmore, will lead an inclusive hands-on discussion through the perilous ground of relationship and the power of communication. This morning will include time to connect around this layered topic, practicing our communication skills, time to communicate through our written words, and a time to share our writing with each other. Kaitlyn’s background includes a B.S. in Human Development as well as B.A. in Anthropology, with a focus on linguistics. She holds an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and works with school-age children who have a wide array of communication needs.
