About this event
What makes life extraordinary? Have you ever wondered if you were meant for something more? What would you risk to find it? We all want our lives to mean something. We search for purpose, happiness, love, and that one extraordinary thing that will make us feel complete. In the Tony Award-winning musical PIPPIN, a young prince sets out to discover his purpose and find his own “Corner of the Sky.” Along the way, he is tempted by adventure, glory, passion, and the promise of greatness—but the more he searches, the more he must ask himself: What truly makes a life extraordinary? Featuring an electrifying score by Stephen Schwartz, the composer of Wicked, this unforgettable story comes to life at Arizona Broadway Theatre through breathtaking choreography, circus-inspired excitement, spectacular theatricality, and plenty of surprises. But beneath all the music and spectacle is something deeply human: the longing to belong, to be loved, and to know that the life we are living matters. Bold, moving, magical, and unlike anything else on the ABT stage, PIPPIN may leave you looking at your own life—and the people who make it meaningful—a little differently. Come find your "Corner of the Sky."
