This session will cover simple archival techniques, handling and labeling best practices, and tips for protecting treasured materials so they can be enjoyed by future generations.Heather Potter is the Assistant Director of the South Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina, where she oversees the curatorial program and special collections documenting South Carolina's history and culture. An experienced archivist specializing in manuscripts, photographs, and family collections, she previously held curatorial positions at the Filson Historical Society and the Kentucky Historical Society.
