April First Friday Gallery Crawl and Optional Shabbat Dinner

Here's the link to the monthly event that has now, I think it's safe to say, become a regular activity for our group: https://www.oldcitydistrict.org/first-friday The photo you see here is from the new interactive, immersive Ministry of Awe on North 3rd , which is about to open as of this writing. I don't know at this point whether it will be open during the next First Friday, but we can hope. :) As the date draws closer, we'll get more of an idea as to which galleries and other spaces will be open. When it looks as if all the events have been listed that are *going* to be listed (if I'm making sense here), I'll post an itinerary; I'll also email everyone who RSVPd "yes" the day before (using the two options the site gives me, one of which is to send a message to everyone subscribed to Organizer Special Announcements) with my number so that you can text me before or during the event if you want or need to. For the third time, we'll be going to the Shabbat dinner at the Old City Jewish Arts Center after our last gallery visit. Just to reiterate and reassure: You don't have to be Jewish to attend! :) It *will* be Passover, so there will be no bread, but rather, matzoh, which, if you haven't eaten any, tastes like Carr's Table Water Crackers. :) **[Update: I've just learned that there will be no Shabbat dinner to attend this month, as I explain in the chat below.]** It will also be Good Friday, which, I realize, might prevent some of you from signing up and might also affect which spaces are open. As my late mother used to say, "It remains...to be seen." :)
