About this event

Ticket prices on our website reflect all-in pricing for purchases made online or by phone. This means the price you see includes the ticket price plus MUTO’s ticket processing fee. Tickets may be purchased with no included fees in person at The Ark during box office hours. Originally born in Germany and transplanted to the U.S. as a young teen, Antje Duvekot began honing her observational skills through a lens of biculturalism when she picked up a guitar in high school. Some years later, the confessional folk of Dar Williams and Ani DiFranco gave her license to share those observations, no matter how personal, in her first emerging songs. She has never let go of the tenet of vulnerability, building a celebrated career around songs that transform deeply personal experiences into something universal. Santa Fe-based songwriter and author David Berkeley writes songs capable of both breaking and mending the heart. A standout guest on This American Life, he’s won many songwriting awards and honors including ASCAPs Johnny Mercer Songwriting Award. Berkeley has released 9 studio albums, a live album, and authored 2 books. Berkeley’s newest album, A Pail Full of Fire, is a masterclass on songwriting and singing. Like all of Berkeley’s catalogue, the music begs you to lean in and listen close, as each song speaks to what matters in this life.
