FREE EVENT The Billie in partnership with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) presents the annual Dance Africa Community Day celebration at The Billie Holiday Theatre filled with music, dance, spoken word, and centered on family and community. The Billie Holiday Theatre’s Youth Arts Academy celebrates 30 years of participating in BAM’s Dance Africa. The event includes performances by The Billie’s Youth Arts Academy Dance Ensemble, select Youth Arts Academy students, and special guest artists.
