September 5th, 10:00am – 11:30am. Ancient Burying Ground Tour Meet Martha Smart at the red barn beside First Church’s parking lot at 10:00am. Learn about the history of those buried in the Ancient Burying Ground and Village Cemetery, the final resting place for Wethersfield residents for over 300 years. A suggested donation of $10 (cash or check payable to Wethersfield Historical Society) is requested from non-members. Current Wethersfield Historical Society Members receive free admission. This tour may be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather. Pre-registration is not required. 2026 Scheduled Tours: May 23, 10:00am – 11:30am Cancelled June 20, 10:00am – 11:30am September 5, 10:00am – 11:30am October 24, 10:00 am – 11:30 am *Meet at the red barn in the First Church parking lot.
