In his highly entertaining lecture entitled An Incredibly Condensed History of Magic – Tricks Included!, professional magician Greg Whalen delivers a unique presentation highlighting the most fascinating milestones of the centuries-old art of theatrical magic. Mr. Whalen discusses the ways in which the art of magic has metamorphosized over the decades. And throughout his lecture, Greg will be giving performances of several magical effects to help illustrate the art of illusion! The lecture runs one hour and is designed for adults. No children under the age of 12. The lecture is free, but registration is required as space is limited. Greg Whalen studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company in London and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Illinois. Since 1988, Mr. Whalen has made his living as a full-time professional entertainer, performing as a comedian, voice-actor and magician. Greg has won several awards for his magic, has performed thousands of live shows, and his voice acting can be heard on The Disney Channel, History Channel, and audiobooks.
