But their passionate whirlwind romance screeches to a halt when Lorenzo is found murdered on her bedroom floor. The shock deepens when she discovers their “chance” meeting was anything but accidental. Meanwhile, investigator Serena Frederick is left badly injured after a devastating car crash.
