ABOUT Amplified Rainbow IV Amplified Rainbow IV showcases the creativity, talent, and artistic voices of the Artists @ SUI, an arts based day habilitation program of Systems Unlimited, Inc. Since 2018, Artists @ SUI has provided adult artists with disabilities access to art materials, instruction, adaptive tools, and creative support, helping them explore and develop their unique artistic expressions. This exhibition features a diverse collection of work, including painting, drawing, ceramics, and mixed media, created by artists who contribute meaningfully to Iowa City’s vibrant arts community. At its heart, Amplified Rainbow IV is a celebration of radical inclusion, individuality, and the power of art to connect people. The exhibition highlights the perspectives and experiences of more than 30 artists who create in the Artists @ SUI studio, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with artwork that is both personal and inspiring. Through their creativity, these artists demonstrate that art is not only a form of self-expression but also a powerful way to build community, foster understanding, and amplify voices that deserve to be seen and celebrated. ABOUT THE ARTISTS Systems Unlimited, Inc. (SUI) is a nonprofit agency that has served individuals with disabilities in Eastern Iowa for 50 years through a multitude of services. Established in 2018 within the Systems Unlimited Day Program in Iowa City, Artists @ SUI provides adult artists with access to art supplies, instruction, adaptive tools, and creative support that may not otherwise be available to them. Through a commitment to radical inclusion, Artists @ SUI empowers artists with disabilities to develop their artistic voices, share their work with the community, and be recognized as valued contributors to Iowa’s vibrant arts scene.
