About this event
Upgrade to Amateur Extra and achieve the highest-level amateur radio license. Work DX stations in the Extra class phone segments. Enjoy all frequencies granted to amateur radio operators. Expand your knowledge of advanced technical and operating activities. The Extra class license is the highest of all three amateur radio licenses. To upgrade to Extra class, you must hold a General class license (or have recently passed the General license exam). Upgrading to Extra class is your ticket to every privilege granted to amateur radio operators — all frequencies, including 80-meter DX watering holes and exclusive portions of 40, 20, and 15 meters. This 10-week course presents information you will need to pass the exam and become an effective operator.
