The evening’s centerpiece is Peter Boyer’s acclaimed Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue, performed by internationally celebrated pianist Jeffrey Biegel. Commissioned by Biegel as a companion to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, this vibrant and uplifting work blends the energy of American popular music with the brilliance of the symphony orchestra, creating a thrilling celebration of the American spirit. The program also features stirring patriotic favorites, powerful orchestral works, and a special musical salute honoring each branch of the United States Armed Forces. Whether reflecting on those who have served or celebrating the ideals that unite us, this unforgettable evening offers an opportunity to come together through the power of live music.
