About this event
For October, our subject is George Washington. Read any book about George Washington and then share what you learn about him with the group on October 12. Some titles available in the SAPL system are: Young Washington by Peter Stark, American Patriarch by H. W. Brands, and Washington by Ron Chernow. But feel free to read any book about Washington. Memorial Branch is participating in the America 250 Reading Challenge. Let's celebrate and learn our nation's history together. We will read about George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, John Adams and other founding fathers. We meet every second Tuesday at 6:15. Book Group & Literary; Adults
