About this event

Because owls tend to hunt at night and hide during the day, they can be hard to see and even harder to identify. Yet for most of us, every owl sighting is memorable. Join master birder Connie Sidles as she takes you into the secret lives of Washington’s many owl species, each with its own wonders and delights. Breeding season is well underway, and the owls will be calling. Constance Sidles is a master birder with more than 600 North American birds on her life list. She has led several trips for Birds Connect Seattle (formerly Seattle Audubon Society), currently serves as chair of Birds Connect Seattle’s Publications Committee, and was a long-time member of the BCS Conservation Committee. Please register in advance as seating is limited. The doors will open at 1:45pm for registered attendees - please arrive early to allow time to find parking. At 1:55pm, any remaining seats will be made available to those on the waitlist or who have not registered. This event will not be recorded. Contact us with questions Programs & Events FAQs To request a sign language interpreter, complete this online form or contact your local library at least two weeks prior to the library event. Interpreters will be provided based on availability.
